‘Intoxicated Narcissus’ starts streaming online

Iran’s ‘Intoxicated Narcissus’ is streaming online after coronavirus pandemic interrupted theatrical releases.

Iranian feature film ‘Intoxicated Narcissus’ (Narges-e Mast) has been streaming online after the coronavirus pandemic interrupted theatrical releases.

‘Intoxicated Narges’, written and directed by Jalaleddin Dorri, was premiered on February 12, but its screening was halted due to the coronavirus outbreak that forced the closure of movie theaters.

The film has been available online since Wednesday.

‘Intoxicated Narges’ depicts the lives of four contemporary poets and music composers as well as the history of Iranian music in a romantic and poetic format.

The film is starring Mehdi Pakdel, Saeed Pour-Samimi, Mitra Hajjar and Houman Barqnavard.

Amir Hossein Modarres, Siamak Safari and Negar Abedi have also appeared in the movie.

‘Exodus’, directed by Ebrahim Hatamikia, was the first Iranian film to stream online without getting a theatrical release after the coronavirus outbreak led to the closure of movie theaters as part of measures aimed to curb the spread of the COVID-19 respiratory disease caused by the virus.
